Biographical / Historical
Eclipse Weekend, first held in 1976, was originally a joint programming initiative of the student clubs UMOJA, at Connecticut College, and Genesis, at the United States Coast Guard Academy. Beginning in 1998, Unity House as a whole became co-sponsor along with Genesis. The Coast Guard Academy ceased their involvement after 2006 and in 2008 Eclipse was chartered as a new Unity House student organization.
