Scope and Contents
This collection consists of files collected and maintained by William H. Reeves, Treasurer and member of the Board of Trustees, pertaining to his involvement in the resignations of Connecticut College presidents Frederick Sykes in 1917, and Benjamin T. Marshall in 1928. The collection includes correspondence from alumnae, news clippings covering both resignations, and an annotated copy of Sykes’ response to the Board of Trustees in 1917.
