Series III. Connecticut Chapter, 1953 - 2007
Scope and Contents
This series documents the work and projects of the Connecticut Chapter of the Nature Conservancy. The Connecticut Chapter formed in 1952. Part of the chapter’s work was prioritizing sites of conservation, preserving, and stewarding the lands acquired by the conservancy. Goodwin was an active member of the Connecticut Chapter and was especially involved with the Natural Areas and Stewardship and Science committees. Goodwin was interested in the TNC projects in Connecticut. He was also involved with many of the projects and would also gather materials on projects that he was less involved.
