Series II: Rachel Carson’s associates, 1928-2008
Scope and Contents
This series contains clippings, correspondences, articles, obituaries, articles, interviews, and drafts of manuscripts on colleagues of Rachel Carson. The bulk of the material are subject files kept by Linda Lear on the family, friends, colleagues, and critics of Rachel Carson. They document their lives and their relationship and association with Carson. A smaller amount of material are transcripts of interviews made with some of these associates by Linda Lear during the writing of her book.
