Scope and Contents From the Series:

This series contains the records of Arboretum land acquisition and use. This includes correspondence, deeds, and maps, lists of flora and fauna, and financial records. Of particular interest are the original landscape plan and map developed by A.F. Brinckerhoff between 1931 and 1936. This series is divided into four subseries: Land tract records, Maps and plans, Gardens and plant lists, and General. Subseries A is organized by tract number then by date.
