Scope and Contents From the Sub-Series:

This subseries contains correspondence with members of the Nature Conservancy. Correspondents in the collection are primarily TNC presidents, Board of Governor members, and other high ranking officials in the Nature Conservancy. Included are discussions on the normal business of the TNC, the leadership of the Nature Conservancy, which includes a proxy battle that occurred in 1958 between Goodwin and George Fell, Executive Director, and discussion on the development of projects.

Scope and Contents From the Sub-Series: This subseries documents TNC projects organized by geographic location. These materials document projects that Goodwin was associated with in some capacity: either as a trustee, liaison for the Nature Conservancy, or as a general interest. Particularly rich are folders on the following geographic locations: California, New Hampshire, New York, Ohio, and Panama.
