Scope and Contents

Research files, correspondence, and reports related to the 1973 report by William Cibes, "New London, Connecticut, Twenty Years after Brown v. Board of Education," completed pursuant to a contract with the United States Commission on Civil Rights. There are also notes made from interviews conducted with many New London residents in conjunction with writing the report.
