Scope and Contents

Content Warning: Derogatory Terminology for Dutch People.

Jack initially describes his time in Sinagapore, primarily getting and reading his mail. He continues with his trainrides to Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) and Port Swettenbam (possibly Port Klang, Malaysia); the deliver of trains at the Port; his return trip to Singapore; his rebooking his boatride; the Bandoeng office; and his cables to the Bandoeng office, the home office, other businesses, and different people. He finishes by writing about his time spent in Singapore, interactions between travelling businessmen, and the weather. The derogatory terminology fior Dutch people refers to a person that he encounters. The Latin language appears as phrases said by travelling businessmen to each other. A "P.S." is added noting his travelling 25,970 miles so far.
