Ps-R, 1966 - 1998
Scope and Contents
This subseries documents the research and events at Burnham Brook Preserve. This subseries contains reports on the various bird, vegetation, and insect studies done by scientists from all over the country. Connecticut College had a special relationship with Burnham Brook and several Human Ecology students contributed inventories of vegetation and vertebrate studies. Photographs and slides document various flora and fauna as well as the preserve at various seasons. Also included are aerial photographs of the preserve. Occasional photographs of Ester and Richard Goodwin and their friends and colleagues at Burnham Brook and Dolbia are interspersed through the collection. Additionally, there are slides of the 1985 TNC Annual Meeting that was held at and in honor of Burnham Brook in 1985.
