Scope and Contents
The records within this collection document the planning of the 1935 Conference on Women in Public Affairs held at Connecticut College on May 16 and 17. These records include lists of suggested persons to whom letters might be sent concerning education for Public Affairs, alumnae interested in Public Affairs, and women in the federal government; letters between President Katharine Blunt and the presidents of other colleges and organizations; and a pamphlet that documents important speeches and information from the event.
