Scope and Contents
The Bergen Swamp Preservation Society, a group of individuals interested in preserving a 2,000 acre, undrained wetland in upstate New York, as a unique habitat, were aided in their land acquisition efforts by three grants from the Foundation. One of these grants was made through the Nature Conservancy.
