Grant in support of a nonvascular plant inventory project in Vermont. The final report entitled: “A Preliminary Bryophyte and Lichen Inventory of two Vermont Natural Areas" is included in the folder. A grant was also made in support of an experimental program for sea lamprey control in the Poultney River.

Grant in support of the purchase of land contiguous to the Las Cruces preserve in Costa Rica, as well as reforestation efforts on this preserve (see also box 6 and 13).
