Jack writes a brief, transatlantic telegraph from Paris that he his having a good voyage and thanks Mildred for tobacco. (This likely means his sister's name is Mildred if the tobacco is the same as in "Well we pushed off last Wednesday.." [Monday 23, 1922 - Tuesday. 25.]).
