"Well we pushed off last Wednesday.." (Monday 23, 1922 - Tuesday. 25.), 1922

 Item — Box: 01, Folder: 10, Object: 05

Scope and Contents

Content Warning: Reference to Tobacco.

Jack writes about life on the French ship; the passengers; a storm that resulted in furniture, objects, and people being thrown about; and his plans to make a brief trip to Holland from Paris. He notes he had sent an ocean letter on Friday and thanks his sister for the can of tobacco. (This likely means his sister's name is Mildred if the tobacco is the same as in "Having fine voyage thanks to..." [January 20-21, 1922].) The last pages of the letter are missing.
